We’re thrilled to announce that Nina Ozimič has received the recognition plaque for master’s thesis Determination of the regulated wholesale margin of orphan drugs in Slovenia using systems of other EU countries at this year’s Krka Awards.
Master’s thesis compares wholesale margin regulation systems in the EU using the example of orphan drugs available in Slovenia. The findings show that Slovenian margins are among the lowest of the systems examined. The current regulatory framework in Slovenia has remained unchanged for several years, making the existing margin unsustainable. Therefore, the thesis also explores best practices from other EU countries’ systems.
